Complaints
Please read the following carefully if you have a complaint about a article/comment hosted at PenguinPolls.com. Some general points:
- Before contacting us, please consider contacting the commenter directly if you take issue with their article/comment. This will often work to resolve an issue immediately without involving us (or worse, lawyers).
- We take complaints seriously, but please be aware that unless a comment/article clearly violates our Terms of Service we will not disable it.
- Below are the official ways to contact us for various issues. Emails, voice mails, etc that are sent elsewhere will not get the desired response.
Copyright violations
If one of our comment features content that is owned by you (and you did not authorize your content to be published by the comment in question), please use our DMCA Reporting Process. We respond to all properly formatted DMCA complaints.
Defamation, abuse, threats
If you find defamatory, abusive or threatening content on an article or comment, you can report it to Report@Penguinpolls.com. Note that negative personal opinions are not considered defamation. In other words, someone calling you names or insulting you on a comment is not grounds for shutting them down. Instead of asking us to suspend such a comment, please consider either responding in the article's comments, or simply ignoring the issue (Comments who use insults and bad language tend to have bad results on people who read them). When reporting defamatory or abusive comments, please provide specific links and/or quotations of the offending material. If the comment is written in a language other than English, make sure you provide a translation.
Spam comments or Articles
Please report any spam articles or spam comments to Report@Penguinpolls.com. We will attempt to rid it, but if we do not deem it as spam we will not delete it.
